Your special horseshoe(s) will need to be kept in a dry enviornment, away from direct sunlight and any moisture. All polished & copper plated shoes are coated with a product that professionals use to help avoid ageing. Loose horseshoes can be dusted carefully with a dry microfibre cloth.

The life of your shoe will be detirmined by where it's kept, how it's looked after and stored. If your shoe is touched often, this may reduce the quality. Please note: Your shoe(s) cannot be kept outdoors or in a damp environment i.e. Stables, sheds, damp tack rooms etc.
